Can I use FreeStride™ with a small dog?

FreeStride™ is designed for medium and large dogs weighing 25–120 lbs. It is not intended for dogs under 25 lbs.

How adjustable is the waist belt?

The waist belt adjusts from approximately 27.5" to 55" for a flexible fit over different clothing and layers.

Can I still control my dog with my hands?

Yes. The leash includes padded control handles that let you bring your dog closer when you need more direct control.

Does the leash absorb pulling?

The leash uses an elastic bungee section designed to absorb some of the force created by sudden pulling.

What can I carry in the waist pouch?

The integrated compartments can hold small walking essentials such as your phone, keys, poop bags, treats, earbuds and similar items. It is not designed to carry a water bottle.

Can I use it for running or hiking?

The leash is designed for activities including walking, running, jogging and hiking. Always choose activities appropriate for your dog's size, conditioning, behavior and training.
