MudBuster™ Dog Paw Cleaner

Nice large cup! I do appreciate the size and sturdiness of the cup for my larger 80lb Goldendoodle. However, even with the very soft silicone bristles inside it is hard to push his paw into it. I had to take some scissors and trim the silicone rubber bristles to allow more room for his paw to enter the cup more easily. The silicone bristles are just too long. My other complaint is that there is no handle. The cup is large which I love but due to its size, I have a hard time gripping it, a handle would make this much more user friendly OR even a nice solid rubber gripping surface around the whole cup. I included a photo of a previous one I bought with a handle, unfortunately it was hard to get the top back on due to its design. I also included a photo of the bristles that I cut shorter, it might be hard to see but trust me, it helps tremendously!In the end, I ended up cutting the soft bristles down, and buying a free floating handle that is designed for large insulated cups, just waiting for that to arrive.

Makes cleaning muddy paws so easy and simple! Our dogs seem to like it also! The silicone brushes provide a gentle massage while loosening and removing mud/dirt from paws. Very easy to clean the container also. Should have purchased one of these years ago!

One of those purchases that you don't know if it's going to work but price says "why not try?" This thing rocks! We make sure it is in the car on trips and right by the back door when its raining. My Ridgeback is a bit skittish but using this item to wash her paws is a breeze. She doesn't seem to mind it. We dip the feet a couple of times, then dry with towel. Catches all the grit debris and cleans out easily. This is a winner.

This worked so well. I did get the largest size for my 100# dog. I would say it was a tiny bit small. I gave it to someone who has dogs with smaller paws which worked extra well. It was easy to clean and the bristles would take a moment for some dogs to get used to. They separate which helped to introduce it to the dogs. We used just the bucket part first then added the bristles.

When I bought this in 2023, I only had one large dog but now I have two and this is a floor saver! It's easy to use, I love the gray color , very durable (we use it all the time still!), easy to throw in a bag on the go , super easy to clean and makes paw cleaning much easier! I will use this forever!

This really works well. Dogs got used to it very quickly and they are gentle to their paws.

This is a great product- definitely a game changer when cleaning muddy paws. I bought mine 3 years ago- sadly it has sprung a leak at the bottom around the edge of the base. Is there any type of warranty?

We love this product. When we get a lot of rain we just dunk their paws in and they come out clean. We have two German Shepherds for reference. My only complaint was how it was shipped. Just tossed in bag.

At first I thought this is a waist but I’m buying it the first use was awful I filled it with water and some soap then dumped it and filled it with water to rinse off I thought this is to much work it’s a waist of money. Well my Great Dane decided to play in the mud I tried it again but only filled it with water her paw with a good amount of her leg fit now I wish the scrubber had a handle which would make it easier to move up and down because this thing is large and I have small hands, but the end result was awesome so yes I recommend it the only change I would do is add a handle for us smaller hands people

Large presently fits my 13 month old Irish Wolfhound female puppy (no dew claws). I was able to try it for the wolfhound, it seems to work well. It is certainly a lot easier to use than a plastic pail. I was able to clean all 4 paws with one filling of warm water and just a tiny bit of soap. I have a adult male Great Dane for which the large size barely fits but the fit is worrisomely snug for his dew claws.It will definitely work better on dogs without dewclaws.I might reevaluate the product after trying it on our Great Danes.

I feel like I've just about tried it all when it comes to keeping muddy pawprints off of my new, light colored floors: dog booties, dog cleaning wipes, and now the Mudbuster.There just aren't any dog booties out there right now that will stay on my dogs' paws. I have two 70-pound mixed breeds-- a boy and a girl. The booties don't come up high enough, and no matter how tightly I wrap the velcro strap around their paws (can't be too tight either or it'll be uncomfortable and impractical for them), the booties flip off and go flying the second the dogs begin to run around in the yard. I would end up having to go outside to find the lost booties and have to clean my dogs' paws anyway. I even looked at dog booties that are attached to a suspender-like harness, but I didn't want to get that desperate yet. My dogs didn't really like walking in the booties anyway. Most of the time they just stood there and stared at me like they weren't sure what to do now.The dog cleaning wipes were my next choice. I tried two different brands. They were just ok. I had to use multiple wipes per dog, and it wasn't that great at getting the mud off. It would also flick lots of pieces of mud and dirt off their paws onto my floor.Which finally led me to the Mudbuster. Although it's a bit messy to use because of the water, this takes 1st Prize easily over the other two aforementioned options I tried. The Mudbuster is like a giant deep cup that holds lots of water, you stick your dog's paw in there, rub it against the soft silicone-like bristles, and it does an excellent job at cleaning them off. You'll just need a towel with you to dry off the paw after you dunk it in the water. I uploaded a video of myself and my boy this morning demonstrating the Mudbuster. It's about 3 minutes long, but that's all it takes. Compared to vacuuming and mopping and scrubbing dirt and mud off the floors and carpets, it's worth it.I bought 2 Mudbusters, one for each dog. I fill each up with warm water after I let them outside and grab a couple towels. My dogs have quickly adapted to getting their paws cleaned after coming inside on rainy days and don't seem to mind them at all. They seem to prefer that anyway to me picking at and scrubbing their pads.Since I've used this product so many times, I've gone through the process of cleaning them and it's not bad at all. All I did was pull a little on a tab on the inside of the cup near the top, and it let me take the silicone part out in one piece to where it was just the cup left. Washed each piece off with warm water and carefully placed the bristled part back inside, and voila.This product gets 5 stars from me because, for me, it's the best thing that's worked so far at keeping my floors clean. It takes a little bit of work and some towels, but it's totally worth it. Also, my dogs do so well with this product, it's hard not to appreciate that too!

I purchased a LARGE Paw Cleaner for our two Shepherd/Husky mix girls. The bigger of the two girls weighs about 70-75 lbs and her paw measures a full 2 1/2 inches at rest, no weight on it. According to the manufacturer a medium would've worked. But I chose the large because it is nearly 3 inches taller and therefore holds more water. I am happy with my choice. As I expected, quite a bit spills out as you are cleaning the paws but the large holds enough water to do both girls with one fill. That being said, it is a "looser fit" and I do believe the medium would do a more efficient job at getting the paws clean, if I only had 1 dog I would have gotten the medium and been happy.As other reviewers stated, the large is a bit awkward and I can't really "twist" it back and forth so I use more of an up & down motion dragging the soft inner bristles against their paws. The girls don't fight it at all. They just stand there and let me stick their paws in the cup an scrub scrub scrub. Before we got this we'd take a dishpan filled with water outside and drag them to it and fight them to get their paws in and it was a fight the whole time. It took two of us. Now I can clean their paws without help and I am not exhausted afterwards!I would recommend doing the cleaning outside as it gets messy. But messy outside is better than messy inside with muddy paws. We have a lot of mud when it rains and the paws get caked. I added a drop of dog shampoo to the water. I knocked off the big chunks with my hands, put a paw in and "scrubbed" up and down a several times. Then took the paw out to check, running my hand over the paw and between the pads etc, again helping to remove the stubborn stuff. There was only a little still adhering under the nails. One more dip & "scrub" and then towel dry & repeat for the rest of the paws. Amazing! So quick compared to our old method. It comes apart easily for cleaning. I am very happy with my purchase!
