This thing works!

I bought this thinking it was just another gimmick but this roller is AMAZING! I’ve had it for about a year and it’s still works like new. I’ve been keeping it on the deck to use on the patio furniture that the cats love to lounge on and getting another one for inside. Works so much better on furniture than a sticky roller. Don’t hesitate you won’t be disappointed.

Overall works great! Just not perfect

I still have this several years later, it works amazing, its not just a tv thing. It's durable and causes no damage, I used it on all my furniture and my carpet when it gets bad. I kinda wish it got into corners better but that's okay! Ive seen some that get into corners a little better but I'm not planning on replacing it or anything cause it doesn't cause damage like the others

Life changing

This has become a staple in my day-to-day routine as I have a kitty who is super fluffy and hairy and is always making a huge mess on my furniture. It used to be a hassle to remove all the hair off my bed and I went thru so many lint rollers and felt like I was spending too much, so finding this product was honestly a lifesaver. It picks up SO much hair, is a breeze to clean, and makes tidying up so much easier now.

It actually does what it claims to do!

I've purchased several different pet hair removal tools and most of them are okay but are not necessarily easy to use or very efficient. I didn't expect much from this one but I was pleasantly surprised. It actually does what it says. The only challenge is when I am removing pet hair from a blanket or sheet because it requires that you go in both directions to get the hair to build up in the collection area. It's a small inconvenience and I am very happy with it otherwise.

Perfect!! Highly recommend

I’ve got a decent lil vaccum but nothing fancy. Good for carpet and hardwood but wouldn’t not work for the pet hair on my couch. Even with special attachments. THIS lil thing though… works wonders. You do have to go up and down in short/fast strokes. But having my couch pet hairless is amazing. Both my dogs shed a lot so a quick 2-3 min wipe down with this is all I need. So much better than 20 mins with a vaccum that wouldn’t pick up even half of the dog hair. Worth it to buy if you have pets that shed all over your couch.

picks up long hair short hair, cat hair dog hair different patterns. Great price works amazing.

I bought this cat themed pet hair roller for my daughter as she has a Maine coon cat who sheds a lot and does not like to be groomed. My daughter absolutely love this. It works very well keeping the cat hair off of her furniture and rugs. She actually vacuumed her whole rug with this on her hands and knees, and was amazed that all the hair that came off the rugs and furniture, even after vacuuming them traditionally with a regular vacuum this definitely picks up hair off of furniture, rugs Clothes it’s reusable you can take the hair out out of the storage chamber after using it

Works well and is fun to use

I didn't have many expectations despite the good reviews but I am wowed. It works great! I even make it part of my exercise routine to get on the floor and "chom chom" the rug -- and have fun while doing it. Really works well. My new rescue cat has a double coat and the hair just floats everywhere despite him being short haired. It grabs my long hair off the carpet, too, which is fantastic. My only minor complaint is that I tend to want to grab it higher and have to be careful not to hit the "open" button on the compartment while using it. Wish it was set lower so I don't bump it. But in general I am a huge fan, definitely lives up to the hype. No issues with any fabric problems at all, it's great.

Great reusable pet hair tool for furniture, bedding, rugs, and quick cleanups

I bought this pet lint roller to help with dog hair around the house, and it has worked really well for me. I think of it as part of my pet-hair cleanup toolbox. It does not replace the vacuum for everything, but it is much handier than getting the vacuum out for smaller jobs. What I like:• Works well for pet hair• Easy to use• Reusable• No sticky tape refills needed• Good value over time• Great for quick cleanups• Handier than pulling out the vacuum for little jobs• Works well on multiple surfaces• I have used it on rugs, curtains, bedspreads, the couch, and fabric-covered chairs• Helpful for furniture, bedding, cushions, blankets, and other fabric surfaces• Picks up hair that may not be obvious at first• Easy to empty• Easy to clean• Nice to keep nearby for everyday pet-hair maintenance• Good tool to have if you have petsThings to be aware of:• It works best with short back-and-forth strokes• This is better on stationary fabric surfaces than trying to use it on clothing while wearing it• You need to empty the hair compartment regularly• Do not let the collected hair build up too much inside• I would wipe the brush surface with a damp cloth when needed• I would not submerge it in water• For stubborn buildup, clean gently and let it dry completely before using again• Like any pet-hair tool, it works best when used regularlyOverall:This has been a great pet hair remover for me. I have used it on rugs, curtains, bedspreads, the couch, and fabric-covered chairs, and it has worked well on all of those surfaces. It is especially useful when I notice pet hair in one area but do not want to drag out the vacuum for a small cleanup.I really like that it is reusable and does not require sticky tape refills. You just roll it back and forth, empty the compartment, and keep using it. For me, that makes it much more convenient than a traditional lint roller for furniture and bedding. This is one of those simple tools that is nice to have nearby if you have pets. It is easy to use, easy to empty, and effective for quick pet-hair cleanup around the house. I am very happy with it and would definitely buy it again.

Removes hair you don't even know is there

I've seen reviews of this online and everyone says it's great, so I finally got one. (Apparently I had it on my wish list so I actually have 2 now!) My cats are pretty much the same colors as my furniture, so there's no obvious hair, but I do use the ChomChom before anyone visits. I can rub my hand over the cushions and not see or feel any fur so it's really surprising to use the ChomChom and have it fill up with hair. It works well and is very easy to open up and clean. The rubbing surface is not sticky - it has a fabric with tiny bristles which pick up the fur. It works on every type of fabric I've tried including clothing, the sofa and even stuffed animal toys.

Game changer!

Ok, I was skeptical, at best! But I bought this and used it on my couch first. The fabric of my couch makes it look clean. It. Was. Not. Two of my dogs are shedding so bad and one has anxiety, so I let them on my bed to calm down. There was hair EVERYWHERE! I used this bad boy and my sheet was so clean! The only thing I have an issue with is holding it, I kept opening the trash compartment on accident. Might do better to change the lock to one you have to slide to open amd slide to lock, but its not a deal breaker. Best if you move the hair remover back and forth in small areas quickly, don't slide it all the way up then all the way down. We were constantly buying the paper rollers, so I love this hair remover!

Excellent Pet Hair Remover!

I absolutely love this roller! It’s easy and practical to use, and it does a great job removing cat and dog hair, lint, and other debris from sofas, cushions, and other surfaces. Since I got it, cleaning up my pet’s hair has become so much easier and faster. It’s a simple but very useful product that I highly recommend to anyone with pets!

Definitely a good buy!

Works amazing! I would buy this for anyone with a dog. I have a Bernese mountain dog. He sheds like crazy! This thing was picking up hair we couldn’t see! Would buy again! Some cons,I would pay more if the durability was stronger. It feels fine! But I think if it was more durable, it would last year and years.I would make the spinning part bigger for more surface area and pick up more hair and last longer.Other than that! Perfect! And cheap for the value of your money.

It picks up fur

I have a Bernese Mountain dog need I say more? I really use it for my white wool carpet in my bedroom OMG there is always black fur on it and this thing picks it up. It works. I gotta crawl around on my hands and knees, but it works. The vacuum cleaner gets all clogged up even though I got a Meihle pet vacuum! the rollers in the head get all clogged up and it’s easier to crawl around in my hands and knees, using the chin chin instead of, with cuticle scissors, trying to cut hair out of the head of the vacuum cleaner.

Easy to use and clean

Best I have found. It definitely helps keep the couch clean.

Wish I would have gotten sooner!!!

I seriously don’t know how I lived without this up until now. I have three long haired dachshunds, so you can imagine the fur. And of course they sleep with us which is what brought me to buy this. Washing our bedding does nothing to get rid of the fur. So when the roller arrived, I washed all the bedding. Then put each piece on the bed and took the roller to it. Over and over and just kept getting fur and more fur! It never seemed to end! If I could give this 500 stars I would! Best invention for fur I’ve ever seen!!!!

Worth the money and it lasts

I love this thing. It really does pick all the hair and lint off of our cloth couch. Def worth the buy since it is reusable! No favric damage from use, it has lasted a year so long and still works perfectly. The compartment opens for you to clean it. It works on all fabrics from thicker cloth to thinner sheets. There are no accessories that came extra with it, but like i said, it cleans itself and is reusable.

It truly works!

I purchased my first one in 2022 and it’s still working great. I also own every other type of hair picker-upper on the market but none come close to these. Why? Nearly all others do grab the hair but you wind up with a long snake looking roll of hair that you will still need to use tape to pick up. Not with this device. All you’ll need to do is open it up and dump out the hair. Now if you have a Shepherd like my Dutchie you will be dumping a lot so I recommend carrying a plastic bag with you to save trips to the garbage container. I read the review that said their’s opens when it shouldn’t but I’ve never had that happen so it could be they are putting their finger to close to the release button. I also use it a lot and never questioned the quality, mine is still going strong and solid 4 yrs later. I use it on furniture, dog and human beds and comforters. It’s more difficult to use on top sheets as you have to keep them flat but it still works with a bit more effort. It’s a lot easier if your more diligent with your cleaning schedule. Only improvement I’d love is if it was an attachment to my vacuum but until then I’ll continue to use and purchase if needed.

Dare to Have Fun Cleaning & Save Money

Worth the money, easy to use, picks up pet hair (and some dirt) as well as or maybe even better than those sticky lint/hair remover that must be peeled off constantly. This definitely saves money and the best part is that you can see visibly the amount of hair (so much) that it picks up even after using the sticky ones. Doesn't perfectly pick up the longer cat hair 100% at first brush but swipe it at different directions a few times and it will. Wasn't sure at first if it was worth the purchase but if you are trying to save money & have multiple pets that constantly shed (ie. cat, dog, wolf etc - i have 3 short-haired cats & a Morkie who doesn't really shed) then this is worth trying. Works well on couch, bed, upholstered chair, but not on hard surfaces (sticky lint removers work better on surfaces like table, floors, glass). Works okay on clothes while wearing it but I prefer the sticky lint removers as you do have to push this a few times with pressure to work. The best part is that no refills needed so you save money! Fun to use, try it!

This Chom Chom Works Well, But It Does Have Its Limitations.

This Chom Chom lint and hair roller does work as advertised IF it is used correctly. We mainly use this Chom Chom to clean up the hair left on the faux leather furniture by our constantly shedding Sable German Shepherd. It does indeed work really well for that purpose. This Chom Chom also picks up little pieces of lint off of the furniture very well. However, this Chom Chom is NOT going to vacuum the entire house by itself, so don't expect miracles from it.This Chom Chom is designed to be used in short back and forth strokes, and not long rolling motions, as the hair collector bar does not turn 360 degrees (it flips back and forth). The hair collector pads are designed to collect hair and lint by building up static electricity through friction, and then the squeegee deposits the hair and lint into the easy to empty storage compartment. If the Chom Chom is used in one long continuous direction/motion it will not work correctly, and I am quite sure that is where the very few negative reviews are coming from. Also, as specifically stated in the included instructions, this Chom Chom is NOT designed to be used directly on humans or pets. It is not a sticky clothing lint roller or a dog/cat brush. The instructions also state that this Chom Chom will not work on hard or smooth services. It needs some friction from rough furniture material in order to build up static electricity on the cleaning pads. As I previously stated, this Chom Chom does work very well IF it used as directed. Just don't use it for unintended purposes, and then leave a bad review because the instructions were ignored or not read at all. While I would have given this Chom Chom 5 stars just because it works so well for its intended purpose, it does have a couple of shortcomings. First off, if a finger is not placed over the door latch of the hair storage compartment while using the Chom Chom, the door constantly flips open and the collected hair goes everywhere (I learned this surprise the hard way). Maybe I received a Chom Chom with weak door latch? Also, this Chom Chom is made of cheap/thin plastic, so it will flex if too much pressure is placed on it during use. Also, the thin plastic construction does bring the long term durability of the Chom Chom into question. In conclusion, I do highly recommend this Chom Chom, as it does work very well for cleaning pet hair as advertised, IF it is used correctly. However, with the weak storage compartment door latch, and the cheap plastic construction, I can only rate the Chom Chom 4 stars. Personally, I only paid $18 for the Chom Chom on Amazon Prime Day, so cost was really not an issue just to try it out. However, it did take over a week to receive the Chom Chom, with 2 day delivery actually being shown in the product listing, so just be prepared in advance that the delivery of the Chom Chom may be delayed due to its immense popularity. However, that is not the fault of Amazon or the Chom Chom itself.UPDATE: This Chom Chom works so well at cleaning up dog hair that we now own 3 of them that we keep and use around the house. The strange part is that even though the name "Chom Chom" is technically a proper noun, we now use it as a verb in our house, as in "I just Chom-Chomed the couch." Good stuff!UPDATE #2: I recently purchased the Black & Decker version of this Chom Chom hair & Lint Removal Tool (I left a comprehensive review for the B&D product as well) for comparison with this Chom Chom. While both this Chom Chom and the B&D versions of this tool work in exactly the same manner, and equally well, the B&D version is a higher quality product, IMHO. The B&D tool has a thicker rubberized purple handle, a translucent purple lint storage compartment lid, and it operates much more quietly, without the occasional loud squealing noise that this Chom Chom makes. The lint compartment door on the B&D tool also stays securely closed until it is actually opened by the user. The best part is that the B&D hair and lint removal tool is about half the regular price as this Chom Chom version (go figure). I gave the B&D tool 5 stars compared to 4 stars for this Chom Chom. I invite people to try both products and see what they think for themselves. I am sure that they will agree with my opinions on both of these very good hair and lint removal tools.

Best pet hair remover... ever!

I have always had at least one dog and I'm used to coping with some dog hair, but I've never allowed dogs on the furniture and I also think that my dogs all had hair that was fairly easy to remove.Fast forward to 2012, and I am in a second marriage with 3 kids. The last "not on furniture" dog died and we got a new dog named Zara. Hubs grew up in a house that allowed dogs on the furniture so when we saw that that Zara was able to jump on the furniture we had to make a decision. We did it the good ol' American way and put it to a vote. Hubs and all three girls voted to let the dog on the furniture, much to my dismay. Worse, Zara's hair is like nothing I've seen before... once it gets onto cloth, most of the time it clings to the point that the hairs have to be pulled out individually. Vacuuming, tape-style lint rollers, a Gleener depiller, velcro balls in the washer/dryer, Bounce pet hair dryer sheets ... they all leave a lot behind.Fast forward to 2020 and not only am I at my wits' end with the dog hair, but all three kids are grown women and none of us likes that we can't sit on the furniture without having to get out a hand-held vacuum and vacuum the dog hair off the back of each others' pants.Fast forward one last time to last week when I finally decided to get this Chom Chom gadget. I am ASTOUNDED at how well it works. I think the secret is with the little squeegee on the roller. I've tried using a squeegee on carpet before and it really does work, but it is unwieldy, cannot easily be done in more than one direction, and it must be done with a vacuum nearby to gather whatever gets pulled up. Also, then the squeegee ends up with pet hair on it so it needs to be cleaned before it gets put back into service for cleaning glass. With the Chom Chom, you get the benefit of the squeegee, but since it is on the roller, it is easier to do back/forth strokes. And then as for how the dog hair gets off the roller and into the hair collection chamber... maybe it is sorcery? I have no idea how that works but IT DOES!!In full honesty, I still have to do extra strokes to get all of Zara's hair (it gets our other dog's "easy hair" on the first swipe), but the amount that the Chom Chom picks up relative to the number of passes I have to make over the fabric is unbelievable!Once the chamber is full, I use a handheld vac to remove the hair and then it is ready to go again! The only downsides that I can see are:- Some dog hair gets trapped in the side hinges of the door to the collection chamber and has to be pulled out with the fingers. It is possible that if I cleaned it before it got SO FULL, that problem would go away, but we just have SO MUCH dog hair and the gadget is so effective that I would be emptying every couple of minutes.- The button to open the collection chamber door is right where I place my thumb for strength so I tend to pop it open when I am doing the actual rolling task (I seem to have this problem with a lot of products that have a button in the center, so that might be a "me" problem.)- The chom chom is 7.5" wide which is excellent for cleaning furniture, but a narrower version would be better for clothing, especially when the dog hair gets on the clothes while they're being worn and it would be impractical to remove the clothes (e.g., if you get dog hair on your black pants when you ride in your co-worker's car to lunch during the workday.)BOTTOM LINE: I have had this little gadget for less than a week and have already recommended it to several people and wrote this review while I was looking to see if they had a narrower model for my car/office/coat closet. I wish I had owned this years ago, and I would 100% buy it again.
